What is Bioheat?
“Bioheat” is a heating oil blend containing BioDiesel, a renewable fuel.  It helps heating oil burn cleaner, making it better for the environment and home heating systems.  The product consists of East River Energy premium low sulfur heating oil blended with our high quality BioDiesel to create “Bioheat.”

The Benefits of “Going Green”

Bioheat helps heating oil burn cleaner within your boiler or furnace.  This is not only better for the environment, but can also help maintain cleaner heat exchangers, tank and general piping, in turn extending the life of your equipment.

BioDiesel is a natural, renewable resource which in its’ pure form is non-toxic and biodegradable.

BioDiesel is a domestically produced fuel, helping to alleviate our dependency on foreign oil. 

Because of the rather similar characteristics of BioDiesel and heating oil, use of Bioheat requires no tank, boiler, furnace, or system modifications, making your transition easy with no additional cost.
