Some other oil companies have decided to take that decision from you and offer you only a daily price program. East River Energy gives you the option to choose the way you buy your heating oil. We offer you four buying plans. You decide which one is best for you.

Prepaid Plan Our Prepaid Plan secures your oil for the heating season at a locked in price. Simply decide how many gallons you will require, make a one-time payment, and then rest easy knowing that your oil will be there for you all season at your locked in price. Make your payment by check and you can save five cents per gallon.

Budget Cap Plan Here is a convenient way to budget home heating costs over a 10-month period and avoid large heating bills and unexpected price spikes. Your monthly payment beginning August 1, 2012 and continuing thru May 1, 2013 is based on the gallons you believe you will use during the heating season.

Multiply the gallons that you will require by the budget price* and divide by 10 to determine your monthly payment. Enrollment in this plan requires a non-refundable, one-time fee* which guarantees you that, if our daily price is lower than your capped price on the day of your delivery, you will receive the lower of the two prices. Your price will never exceed the capped price. Make your monthly payment using direct withdrawal (EFT), and you will save ten cents per gallon on our daily price. The discount will end when cap price is reached.

At the end of the season, you may have a credit on your account that you can apply to your following year's oil.

Price of the Day Budget Plan To arrive at your budget payment, we will use your historical oil usage pattern multiplied by the seasonally "to be decided" price of the day divided by 10. Should the price of the day or your usage exceed the amount that your budget is based on, a slight adjustment may be made to your payment so that there is little or no balance at the end of the contract. If there is a credit on your account at the end of the season, this amount will applied to lower your payments for the following season. Make your monthly payment using direct withdrawal (EFT), and you will save 10 cents per gallon on our daily price.

Price of the Day Plan The price you pay is our daily delivery price. This price can change depending on the daily market price of oil. Send your signed contract back to East River Energy, pay by direct withdrawal (EFT) within 15 days of delivery, and you will save ten cents per gallon on the price of the day.
